Keep up to date with all the latest news happening at the moment.
As the UCAS portal is about to open, I'm pleased to announce that Leeds Trinity is hosting the first of its PGCE open days on Saturday 1 November 2017, 11.00am - 2.00pm. Whether you are interested in a future teaching career but not sure where to go next or if you're ready to apply when the UCAS portal opens again this autumn, this event is a MUST!
During the event you will have the chance to meet with representatives of St Anthony's, receive valuable advice about how to use the UCAS portal and even get a sweet and a pen or two!
Trinity will also be providing information about all the different teaching levels and subject areas available, there will be stands run by the different partner schools, and the opportunity to find out about student finance, the application process and how to prepare for your interview.
To find out more and to book your place online, visit the Trinity PGCE Open Page by clicking the link here.
We look forward to seeing you and answering your questions on the day.
As part of our striving to deliver the very best and most helpful website, we at St Anthony's have added a new section to our ITT training pages. Now, when you visit our Application Process page:
http://www.stanthonysteachingschool.co.uk/application-process/
you will see a new easy steps guide to the application process.
Although fairly basic, we hope that the guide will give a quick summary to those wishing to understand the process at one glance. The guide is then followed by a more informative stage-by-stage explanation.
Also added, is an FAQ PDF provided by UCAS itself, that directly addresses those difficult and niggling questions that even the most experienced user can find themselves asking. Of course if you can't find answers to you question in on this page, don't worry, our ever helpful Teaching School PA, Mr Andrew Bove, is always on hand to help you smoothly negotiate the UCAS process:
a.bove@stanthonysleeds.org.uk.
So now the help is there and the opening of the application portal imminent, it only remains for us to wish you the very best of luck with your application!
The title says it all. It has been confirmed that the UCAS application portal will indeed open Thursday 26 October (I'm not sure of the exact time, but I'm sure there will be those of you uploading your forms at 12.00 am on the day!). So don't delay, get your application forms with references uploaded as soon as possible! With interviews commencing in November, we anticipate a high take-up of places and judging by previous years, it may well be that we have filled our places by Easter!
For information on the application and interview process, please visit our ITT Training pages at:

Good luck with you application, we look forward to seeing you soon!
